Kokrajhar : Three candidates including Pramila Rani Brahma of Bodoland Peoples Front(BPF), sitting MP and pro-talks Ulfa leader Nobo Sarania and Biraj Deka of CPI-M files their nominations for the Lok Sabha elections in Kokrajhar today.
Assam social welfare minister minister Pramila Rani Brahma, was accompanied by BTC chief and BPF party president Hagrama Mohilary, Tourism, WPT and BC minister Chandan Brahma and thousands of supporters.
Sitting MP Naba Kumar Sarania aka Hira Sarania, was accompanied by over 5,000 supporters, while Biraj Deka of CPIM was also accompanied by over 1,000 supporters.
The three files the nomination before the Returning Officer for 5- Kokrajhar (ST) Parliamentary constituency and Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Mazumdar.
Kokrajhar goes to polls on April 23.
