Guwahati : Police on Saturday detained three Nigerian nationals for allegedly possessing forged passports and visa attempting to leave the country from Guwahati.
After security check, the Nigerian nationals were detained at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport. They were about to leave for Kolkata on a SpiceJet flight (6E6918).The arrested have been identified as Obidimma Chioma Promise, Ozoaka Benjamin Ogadimma and Mbam Sunday. Police have booked them under several sections of the IPC. They have also been booked for violation of the Passport Act, 1967, and the Foreigners’ Act, 1946.
