Mumbai : The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI will host the third edition of its Knowledge Series on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 at the Fortune Miramar, Goa – Member ITC Hotels’ Group. The full-day learning session aims to bridge the information gap and help hospitality professionals stay updated on the latest regulatory and policy changes affecting the sector. It is designed to equip hospitality leaders with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate compliance requirements effectively. The sessions are designed to address the evolving compliance landscape, covering critical topics including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, GST updates and Labour Codes.
The session will feature expert speakers from Ernst & Young (E&Y), including Mr. Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, who will speak on the DPDP Act; Mr. Akshit Saraogi, Director – Global Trade and Customs, Indirect Tax, who will cover GST; and Mr. Anshul Shukla, Director – Risk Consulting, who will provide insights on the Labour Codes. The series will feature expert presentations, panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, offering participants practical guidance on best practices and implementation. It is tailored for hotel owners, general managers, compliance heads, restaurateurs and senior hospitality professionals across the western region.
Ernst & Young (E&Y) will continue as the Official Knowledge Partner for the series, which will be conducted regularly across various regions in western India.
