In a highest single day jump in Covid-19 infections, Telangana reported 546 Coronavirus Positive cases yesterday. With this the number of total reported COVID-19 cases in the state has gone up to 7072.
Out of the fresh cases, hotspot Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area accounted for 458 cases. Adjoining Rangareddy district reported 50 more cases. Janagon reported 10 fresh cases while Karimnagar district reported 13 new cases. 15 more cases reported from 6 other districts across the state.
Meanwhile, 154 patients recovered from COVID-19 and discharged from various hospitals in the state taking the total recoveries to 3506. The state also saw five deaths during the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll due to COVID-19 and other comorbidities to 203.
The official health bulletin informed that 3188 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours.
