University Grants Commission, UGC has said that out of 818 universities across the country, 603 have either conducted examinations or are planning to conduct the examination.
The commission said, that 209 Universities have already conducted examination through online or offline and 394 are planning to conduct examination in August and September.
On 6th of this month, UGC had issued the revised guidelines on conduct of examination in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Commission said, in case of 27 Private Universities, seven State Universities and one Deemed University, the first batch is yet to become eligible for the final examination.
