New Delhi– Procol, India’s first Agentic AI procurement platform, today announced that it has enabled Gopal Snacks to unlock over ₹7.3 crore in savings within a span of approximately 1.5 years by transforming its procurement operations through AI-led automation and data-driven sourcing.

Gopal Snacks, a leading FMCG player with a wide product portfolio and an extensive distribution network across India, operates at a significant scale.  Following its partnership with Procol, Gopal Snacks digitised and centralised its sourcing operations through an AI-powered procurement suite. The platform enabled end-to-end management of RFQs, introduced transparent e-auctions, and provided real-time visibility into spend and supplier performance. This shift helped streamline workflows, improve vendor participation, and drive more competitive price discovery through structured, data-driven processes.

Prior to this transformation, the company was managing its sourcing processes through a mix of ERP systems and manual workflows. Activities were spread across emails, spreadsheets, and calls, limiting visibility, creating inconsistencies in vendor engagement, and slowing down decision-making in a high-volume environment.

This shift to a unified, digital-first approach allowed more structured vendor communication, improved participation in sourcing events, and drove better price discovery through competitive bidding. As an outcome, procurement evolved from a fragmented, process-heavy function into a more agile, insight-driven operation.

Commenting on the transformation, Ritesh Ladwa, General Manager, Gopal Snacks, said, “By moving to a unified, digital-first approach, we’ve been able to improve vendor participation, make more informed decisions, and drive meaningful cost efficiencies. The fact that we were able to fully digitise our procurement cycle within just 21 days, and process over ₹500 crore in spend with clear visibility, reflects how impactful the shift has been for our operations.”

Gaurav Baheti, Founder & CEO, Procol, “Procurement is no longer just a cost centre, but it is increasingly becoming a driver of strategic value for businesses. What we’re seeing today is a clear shift from visibility-led systems to execution-led outcomes, where AI enables teams to act on data in real time. This transition is critical in unlocking faster decision-making, stronger governance, and measurable ROI. The results with Gopal Snacks reflect how intelligent, execution-driven procurement can deliver both efficiency and tangible business impact.”

As enterprises accelerate their shift toward AI-led operations, procurement is emerging as a critical lever for efficiency, control, and cost optimisation. Procol’s work with Gopal Snacks highlights how intelligent, execution-driven procurement can deliver not just operational improvements, but measurable business impact at scale.
