The 5th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2026: A Blueprint for India’s Tech-Led Transformation Concludes in Bhopal
The 5th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2026, a premier national forum dedicated to the socio-economic advancement of India, successfully concluded its two-day deliberations at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre. The event, themed “Reimagining Impact: AI-Driven Skilling, Financial Inclusion, and Social Enterprise for Viksit Bharat,” served as a high-level intersection for government leadership, global technology giants, and grassroots innovators.
The conclave was inaugurated by the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel, who highlighted the ethical and social imperatives of the digital age.
Day 1: Bridging the Digital Divide with AI
Governor Patel commended the AISECT Group for its four-decade journey in democratizing education. He specifically lauded the ‘Kaushal Rath’ initiative—a mobile tech-lab—stating, “To reach the milestone of a Developed India by 2047, we must ensure that the ‘last mile’ child is as tech-literate as those in our metros. Initiatives like the AI Mission are not just about computers; they are about dignity and equal opportunity.”
A series of strategic MoUs were executed on the first day, designed to future-proof the Indian workforce:
● Reliance Animation & SCOPE Global Skill University: To create high-end creative tech programs.
● HCL Tech & Genpact: Collaborative frameworks to integrate AI-based skill-building into university curricula.
● Wadhwani Foundation: Partnering with AISECT to scale social entrepreneurship modules across regional campuses.
Day 2: The Infrastructure of Inclusion
The final day shifted focus toward the “Financial Backbone” of the nation. Shri Gautam Tetwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment, remarked, “Financial inclusion is the silent engine of empowerment. When a rural entrepreneur has digital access to banking, they are no longer a spectator in the economy; they are a participant.”
Key Strategic Milestones:
1. Banking Education: A landmark MoU between the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and AISECT University Group was exchanged, ensuring that specialized banking certifications are accessible across all AISECT campuses, creating a new generation of trained banking professionals.
2. Digital Banking Reach: Representatives from NABARD, SBI, Central Bank of India, and Union Bank discussed the success of reaching 8.5 million accounts through rural Customer Service Points (CSPs), proving that technology can overcome geographical barriers.
Shri Santosh Choubey, Chairman of AISECT, closed the session by emphasizing the transition from traditional literacy to AI Literacy. “Our focus is now on the PM’s AI Mission. We are moving from teaching ‘how to use a computer’ to ‘how to build with AI’, ensuring our rural youth are job-creators, not just job-seekers,” he said.
The 5th Samarth Bharat Conclave 2026 concluded with a clear roadmap for building an inclusive and future-ready India—where technology, skilling, and financial access work in tandem to drive grassroots transformation. As India advances toward its 2047 vision, initiatives and partnerships emerging from the conclave are set to play a pivotal role in empowering communities, fostering innovation, and creating sustainable socio-economic impact.
