Casio India announced today the release of the latest addition to the family of G-SHOCK shock-resistant watches. The GA-2100CC is a collaboration watch created to mark the 140th anniversary of Coca-Cola®, one of the world’s best-known brands.
The new GA-2100CC features a playful design, with details inspired by the distinctive world of Coca-Cola across the watch.
Built on the popular GA-2100, known for its octagonal bezel, the design features a bezel and band in colors drawn from the iconic Coca-Cola contour bottle. First introduced in 1915, the bottle is known for its distinctive curved shape, recognizable even by touch. This familiar design cue gives the watch a subtle sense of nostalgia.
The watch design also incorporates bottle-inspired details in its key elements. The day indicator hand at the 9 o’clock position and the band loop each carry a fluted bottle motif. The dial combines Coca-Cola-toned hues with printed graphics that evoke the bubbles in Coca-Cola’s fizz. An engraving on the case back, inspired by a bottle cap, is yet another detail fans will enjoy discovering.
