The Taste of Monsoon at LOYA,Taj West End, Bengaluru

0 4

As the monsoon unfolds over LOYA at Taj West End, Bengaluru invites guests to indulge in a refined celebration of Northern cuisine, where the essence of the season is expressed through deeply rooted flavours and evocative experiences. Set amidst expansive, verdant gardens, the restaurant extends into an enchanting open-air setting, surrounded by tranquil water bodies softly illuminated to create a warm, ambient glow offering an atmosphere that is serene, immersive, and distinctly luxurious.

Guests can savour the charm of elegant outdoor seating alongside the Champagne Lounge and a sophisticated open bar, where expertly crafted cocktails from the Vriksh menu are presented with finesse. The interplay of lush greenery, reflective waters, and thoughtfully lit surroundings creates a setting that encourages guests to linger and fully embrace the experience.

The menu unfolds as a thoughtful culinary journey across regions and traditions. The Wari Spiced Sigdi Macchi, a Kashmiri preparation, arrives delicately smoky and layered with spice perfectly attuned to the season. The Burni Ka Jhinga follows with bold intensity, where prawns are enveloped in the tangy warmth of Punjabi pickle spices. From the hills of Himachal, the Cha Gosht presents slow-cooked lamb in a velvety curd and gram flour gravy: rich, nuanced, and deeply satisfying. Complementing this is the Chaunk Wali Arbi, tempered with coriander roots and jhakiya, offering an earthy, comforting note inspired by Himalayan traditions.

For the mains, the Tudkiya Bhaath from Kangra presents itself as a wholesome, one-pot indulgence, simple yet layered with flavour, embodying the essence of mountain cuisine. The experience concludes with Him Paat, LOYA’s signature hand-churned ice cream, offering a refined and memorable finish.

Enhancing this immersive dining experience is Jashn 2.0, LOYA’s original music album composed by Shreyas Patkar and inspired by the five elements. As melodies gently underscore the experience alongside softly lit water features and open spaces, each element comes together in quiet harmony creating a dining experience that feels evocative, immersive, and complete.
