To revive this very feeling is the newest launch ‘Bombae Apartment,’ a new all-day bar in Andheri. Built around belonging and nostalgia, this all-day bar is designed as a space for people to emotionally connect over food and drinks.
Bombae Apartment finds its space in Andheri’s fast pace, offering a place where one can slow down the moment they walk in. Inspired by modern apartments, the interiors are organized into zones like a living room, dining area, kitchen-style service counter and lounge spaces resembling the comfort of bedrooms. It’s home-inspired, making you feel you’ve arrived back in Bombay’s warm, earthy and mustard tones. The space respects the sensibilities of an old Bombay home.
Select a corner and get comfortable in the low seating, soft textures and vintage influences. You sit, talk and watch as stories, food, music and culture blend along. It’s a vibe where strangers walk in to become friends and evenings are meant to unfold without any plan. Order from a curated menu uncovering the best of world cuisine. Plaintain tempura, Rock salt crusted Steam Edmame, Deconstructed Caesar Salad, are the quick treats to pair your drinks with. The special cocktail menu features signature pours: The Golden Hour (whisky), Smoke & Mirrors (Gin), Flora & Fauna (Tequila), The Last Chapter (Cognac) and a must-try The Secret Apartment (Rum). Don’t leave without the sweet endings: Caramel French Toast or a Baileys Gulab Jamun.
Talking about the setup, Founder Aniket says, “We didn’t want to create just another bar, but a place where people emotionally connect and plan to stay longer. From the first cocktail at 3:30 PM to the final pour at 1:30 AM, Bombae Apartment is less about rushing through the night and more about settling into it.”
Nishant Desai of UDA India has brought this feeling to life with thoughtful interiors and lighting. In addition to furniture that reflects residential interiors, there’s layering with rugs, decorative touches like bookshelves, framed artwork, ceramics, mirrors and other accessories. The overall aim is to create memorable hospitality through comfort, functionality, and the aesthetics of an urban home while evoking familiar nostalgia.
