Shangri-La Bengaluru Celebrates Independence Day with ‘Cake for a Cause’ in Support of IKSHA Foundation

  Bengaluru: This Independence Day, Shangri-La Bengaluru invites guests to celebrate the spirit of giving with its annual ‘Cake for a Cause’ initiative, taking place from 13th to 15th August 2026. More than just a festive offering, the initiative aims to make a meaningful difference by supporting children battling retinoblastoma, a life-threatening eye cancer, through its partner IKSHA Foundation.

As part of this cause-led campaign, 100% of the proceeds from every cake sold during the three-day initiative will be donated directly to IKSHA Foundation, helping fund treatment and care for children in need.

Guests can choose from a selection of handcrafted cakes, including Chocolate, Butterscotch and Dry Vegan varieties, available in different sizes upon request.

Orders can be collected from the Deli Counter at Shangri-La Bengaluru, which will serve as the designated cake collection point from 13th to 15th August 2026.

With Cake for a Cause, Shangri-La Bengaluru hopes to bring together the community in celebrating Independence Day through compassion, generosity and the simple act of sharing a cake that gives back.
