Greenply Gold Raises the Bar on Plywood Protection with a Best-in-Class ‘11 Years Fully Covered+’ Plan

0 3

Bengaluru : Greenply Industries Limited has introduced an 11-year ‘Fully Covered+’ all-expense cover plan for Greenply Gold, extending protection beyond the replacement of defective plywood, if any, to include specified costs related to restoration, replacement of associated materials, and transportation incurred for repair — over and above the brand’s class-leading 30-year product warranty. The plan is applicable to defects, subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty policy.

A plywood defect rarely stays confined to the plywood itself — once the material is part of a finished piece of furniture or interior application, setting it right can involve costs well beyond replacement. The ‘11 Years Fully Covered+’ plan has been designed around this reality, Covering the specified restoration expenses, including the cost of replacing associated materials such as plywood, laminate, veneer and adhesive, as well as painting, polishing, labour and transportation costs incurred for the repair, giving customers clarity upfront on the support available in the event of a specified defect.

The move reflects a broader shift in how consumers evaluate long-term value from building and interior materials, with fully covered assurance increasingly forming part of the purchase consideration alongside product quality and durability.

Commenting on the development, Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing Director, Greenply Industries Limited, said, “A plywood defect after installation rarely stays limited to the material — restoration, associated materials and transportation add to the cost. The 11-year ‘Fully Covered+’ plan addresses these specified expenses, reflecting how consumers actually experience and use our products, with clear support in the event of the defect. Ultimately, this is about giving customers genuine peace of mind—the confidence that their choice remains protected long after it is used in their furniture.”
