Hyundai Motor India Introduces Bluelink Remote Immobiliser for Greater Vehicle Security Against Theft

Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has enhanced vehicle security on the Hyundai VENUE and VENUE N Line with the introduction of Hyundai Bluelink Remote Immobiliser. This update is now available in the connected-car-Navigation-Cockpit (ccNC) equipped HX10 and N10 variants of the Hyundai VENUE and VENUE N Line, respectively. Feature to be introduced in phases in select existing Bluelink models and offered as standard in upcoming connected Hyundai vehicles. This customer-centric security feature enables owners to remotely immobilise their parked vehicle through the Hyundai Bluelink app, helping prevent unauthorised restart, even in the rare event of key cloning.

In case of suspected theft, customers can activate the feature immediately through the Hyundai Bluelink app so that once the vehicle is switched off, it cannot be restarted. Additionally, live location tracking, subject to network connectivity, can help customers and law enforcement authorities to locate the vehicle faster. For customer safety, the feature does not stop or switch off a moving vehicle.

Leveraging the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture of the Hyundai VENUE and VENUE N Line, the security feature has been introduced remotely through a Controller Over-the-Air (C-OTA) update, eliminating need of a workshop visit for eligible variants sold since November 2025. Equipped with the connected-car-Navigation-Cockpit (ccNC), compatible variants can receive C-OTA updates in upto 19 vehicle controllers, enabling Hyundai Motor India to conveniently deliver new features, enhancements and updates to existing vehicles.
