Dubai: As demand for cross-border relocation out of the GCC continues to rise, ISS Relocations is calling attention to a credential many customers overlook until something goes wrong: FIDI accreditation, the international moving industry’s only independently audited quality standard.
FIDI (the International Federation of International Furniture Removers) accredits moving companies solely on the basis of the FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) audit — a third-party assessment of financial stability, insurance adequacy, destination-partner networks, and physical facility standards. Unlike self-declared credentials, FAIM accreditation is not a one-time badge; accredited companies undergo re-audits on a recurring cycle to retain their status, and only a small fraction of the world’s moving companies hold it at any given time.
