FISHERS, Ind – CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, has announced it will lead global activations for Smart Home Day on Nov. 3. Throughout the day, CEDIA will bring together technology integrators and design and build professionals through expert-led webinars, global networking events, and a campaign designed to encourage cross-industry collaboration.

“Smart Home Day 2026 is particularly special as it’s CEDIA’s first with a dedicated design and build department in place,” said CEDIA Global President and CEO, Daryl Friedman. “With that, we’re bringing a fresh focus to the intersection of technology and design. I look forward to seeing this year’s Smart Home Day build on last year’s momentum and bring even more people together who are shaping the future of the home.”

CEDIA will feature the following events and resources on Smart Home Day:

NKBA|KBIS Webinar: Home Theaters & Media Rooms: A Design-Forward Approach | Nov. 3, 12 p.m. ET

RIBA Webinar: Designing the Connected Home | Nov. 3, 11 a.m. GMT

CEDIA is also encouraging members to make Smart Home Day their own by hosting events in their showrooms, connecting with design and build professionals, or amplifying the day on social media.

“As a designer who now has the privilege of working within the CEDIA channel on a daily basis, every day feels a little like Smart Home Day to me. But I know that’s not the case for every designer,” said CEDIA Design and Build Director, Andrea Harvey. “Having a dedicated day on the calendar makes design and tech collaboration impossible to ignore and gives us an opportunity to bring more people into the conversation.”
