The Governor has been reviewing the status and progress of construction of the roads under NHIDCL in the state from time to time.

Today’s meeting was attended by Nagaland additional chief secretary and finance commissioner Sentiyanger Imchen, commissioner Rovilatuo Mor, Kohima deputy commissioner Mohammed Shihab Ali A, NHIDCL senior officials and contractors.

The meeting reviewed road projects such as Kohima-Jessami road, Kohima-bypass road, Kohima-Mao road, Dimapur-Peren road and Changtongya-Longleng road, a Raj Bhavan release said.

The meeting was told that the work between ongoing Kohima-Dimapur four lane project was slowed down due to rock sliding in several stretched of the road during the past months, the release said.
