Dimapur: The Nagaland government will soon issue a revised SOP for returnees and travellers entering the state.
This was decided at a meeting of the High Powered Committee on Covid-19, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, in Kohima today.
The committee reviewed the Covid-19 management and lockdown measures in the State.
Meanwhile, 57 cases Covid-19 positive cases, 28 in Kohima, 26 in Dimapur, one each in Mon, Mokokchung and Peren, were recorded today. The total number of positive cases in the State now stood at 9,264, principal secretary (home) Abhijit Sinha said.
Out of the 9,264 positive cases, 8,078 people have recovered so far and the active cases are 1,055. There have been 39 deaths due to the virus.
As per the severity of symptoms, 999 active cases are asymptomatic, 36 mild, eight moderate and on oxygen, seven severe and on oxygen, two critical and three are on ventilator.
Of the total 9,264 positive cases, 3,995 are from the armed forces/ police, 1,666 returnees, 3,151 traced contacts and 452 frontline workers, Sinha said.
He said altogether 63,550 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 62,238 samples have been received. A total of 34,038 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 34,028 samples have been received. Through rapid antigen test, 4,268 samples have been tested, Sinha added.
