Bhopal: Finance Minister Jagdish Deora said that best services and financial management should be ensured in the interest of government employees of the state through the software. The Minister was reviewing the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) software developed under the Treasury and Accounts. Deora instructed the finance officers to ensure total transparency in the state’s financial payment system, and speedily resolve the technical problems of the government departments using the software.
Commissioner Treasury and Accounts Mukesh Gupta gave detailed information about the updated status of the computerization scheme and its scenario. He informed that payment of all the claims of government officials / employees are being made online. Besides, pension cases of all retired government servants are also being resolved online, due to which the work in all the treasuries are being done on time and with transparency.
Principal Secretary Finance Manoj Govil, Secretary Amit Rathore, Gulshan Bamra, Director Budget Smt. Irene Cynthia, Director Treasury and Accounts J.K. Sharma and other officials were present on the occasion.
