Governor Shri Patel visits Buddhist Stupa and Forest Eco Park at Satdhara

Bhopal:Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel visited the Buddhist Stupa and Forest Eco Park at Satdhara in Raisen district. During the visit, he inquired about the construction period of the stupas, the materials used in their construction and the archaeological importance. During the visit, Governor Shri Patel said that Satdhara is full of natural beauty. Here natural beauty is scattered in every particle. He said that by coming here the mind experiences inner peace. Governor Shri Patel also interacted with the employees and villagers working in Buddhist Stupa and Forest Eco Park during his visit. Taking information regarding the education of children especially girls, he said that there is nothing without education. Children are the future of the country. If children do not study, how will they progress. Education is very important for a bright future. He said that many schemes are being run by the government for education. You must also educate your daughters so that they can become self-dependent in the future. Daughters are setting new records of success in every field. He was apprised by Shri Surendra Singh Bhadauria about the Buddhist stupas and the site.

Governor Shri Patel visits Halali Dam

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel visited Halali Dam on Sunday. He inquired about the capacity of the dam, the area to be irrigated and the fisheries being done in the dam. Collector Shri Arvind Kumar Dubey informed that about 40 thousand hectare area is irrigated by this Halali Dam built about 50 years ago. Also, drinking water is supplied to Raisen and Vidisha. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel offered prayers and performed rituals after reaching Gyanodaya Teerthdham in Dewanganj.
