Vaishali Kala Kendra Noida,India and Trinayan collective, an New Jersey and New York based Art and Culture organisation, organised an online event “Ek Prayaas” for the celebration of Navratri 2021 on 12th October from 7 pm IST and 9.30 am EST.
Navratri or the ‘nine nights’ is that time of the year when you get the chance to experience deep rest. This deep rest brings freedom from all kinds of botheration’s, deep relaxation, and creativity. Devi represents cosmic Energy. The whole Creation is permeated by this Energy.
Navratri is the time when this energy can be tapped. It’s time to feel your soul! Navratri celebration is a chance to soak in all this energy.
In this online event. All the generations of dancers together have come to celebrate the day with various performances like Odissi, Agomani and Dandiya. The event was started with the Devi Bhajans to enlighten the evening. The event was started with a welcome speech by Ms Isha Das and Odissi Guru Jyoti Srivastava and Founder of Vaishali Kala Kendra.
The guest of the evening was Shri Amarendra Das.The first performance of this online event by the young learners, 2nd performance by Siddharth Kishore, he presented Devi Bhajans in different languages like in Sanskrit, Oriya, Hindi and in other languages too. His voice is absolutely melodies, The 3rd presented by Mrs Bani Ray an odissi exponent from USA in Agomoni song which is a welcome song of Durga Maa ,this is her own choreography, She cherished everyone with her performance ,The fourth presentation by the students of Trinayan Collective USA,After the performances by Young Learners, Odissi Guru Mrs Jyoti Srivastava with her own choreography presentation in the song “Bajlo Tomar Alor Benu”,Jyoti Shrivastava has mesmerized the audience with her wonderful performance, the expression and her dance moves was fantastic.
After the performance of Guru Jyoti Shrivastava, Disciples of Vaishali Kala Kendra presented Durga Stuti and Durga Bhajan, the final presentation of the online events was Dandiya.
The event was concluded by Shri Amarendra Das and he said “Durga Puja we worshipped about Shakti that means power, and in last 25 years I always attended Jyoti Srivastava’s Program and I saw How Jyoti Shrivastava trained her students, she always treat her students like a mother and nurture their talents,
And if I talk about Durga Puja, we received a positive energy during this Puja, I always feel positive energy during the Puja and Bhakti
At the end of the program Jyoti Shrivastava gives the message to all the young generation to accept our Art and Culture, In this event we wants to say that young generation should connect with Spirituality, Art, culture and discipline, so they can achieve their goals and Odissi Guru Jyoti Srivastava thanks to Isha Das she included in her message that Isha has given a great support during the show & she is always a great support system to me, all the students of Vaishali Kala Kendra and Trinayan Collective USA for their devotion towards their Dance performance
