Western Sydney : The opening of Western Sydney International Airport marks an important milestone for Australian tourism, expanding the country’s aviation network at a time of sustained demand for travel worldwide. International tourism reached 1.52 billion arrivals in 2025, up 4 per cent year-on-year. Australia is experiencing similarly strong momentum.
Operating 24 hours a day, the new airport adds capacity to Sydney’s existing infrastructure and offers travellers another entry point into the country. Its Western Sydney location brings experiences such as the Blue Mountains within convenient reach, while supporting greater dispersal into regional New South Wales and other parts of Australia.
