Mumbai : AAA Technologies Limited, a Mumbai-based cybersecurity company, today announced that it is repositioning as a “Cyber Security Through AI” company, adding four AI-based services and targeting an increase in its professional workforce from 100 to 1,000. The move follows a change in the Company’s ownership and management completed in August 2026.

AAA, the first information security company listed on NSE and BSE, has completed more than 12,700 assignments over 25+ years and will extend its business from cyber security audit to remediation and continuous monitoring. The new services are AI-driven cyber security audit; forensic audit, including deepfake analysis; compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act; and an annual AI-led cyber assurance programme combining continuous monitoring with periodic human review.

Santosh Kumar Pandey, Whole-time Director, AAA Technologies Limited said, “Every audit we have ever done ends with a list of gaps. Clients do not want a list; they want the gaps closed. AAA will find the risk, fix it, and keep watching it, and AI is what lets us do that at scale. We are 100 professionals today, and we intend to be 1,000. Attackers are already using AI, and the DPDP deadline is fixed; organisations cannot meet either with a once-a-year manual audit. They need a partner that can assess, remediate and evidence compliance continuously.”

The shift responds to rising costs and tighter regulation. IBM’s 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report puts the average cost of a breach in India at a record ₹25.5 crore, up 15.9% from a year earlier. IBM found that 26% of malicious breaches in India were AI-generated, while 68% of Indian organisations make limited or no use of AI and security automation. Under the DPDP Rules, full compliance is due by 13 May 2027, with penalties of up to ₹250 crore for failing to maintain reasonable security safeguards. MarketsandMarkets estimates India’s cyber security market at US$8.58 billion in 2025, rising to US$16.86 billion by 2030.

AAA employs more than 100 internationally certified professionals and delivers all engagements in-house. It is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 20000-1:2018, and is CMMI Level 3 appraised. It has been CERT-In empanelled since 2005 and was empanelled in 2026 by NICSI, through 2029, and by the State Bank of India as an Information System Audit Organisation, through March 2029. Details of the order book and pipeline will follow in a subsequent release.

Under a share purchase agreement dated 29 December 2025, Jyotirgamya Advisory Private Limited and Mr. Ashok Kumar Chordia acquired 34.38% of the company from its founding promoters, followed by an open offer to public shareholders at ₹101 per share between 23 April and 7 May 2026. The founding promoters have exited, and Mr. Venugopal Dhoot stepped down as Chairman and Managing Director on 31 August 2026.

Ashok Kumar Chordia, Director and Promoter, AAA Technologies, said, “AAA has 25+ years of credibility with regulators, banks and government. Our investment is in extending that franchise into AI-led remediation and assurance, where client demand and regulatory pressure are both rising. We will build the team and capabilities to match.”

The repositioning marks a new phase for AAA Technologies, with the company set to build on its established credentials while expanding its role in the cyber security value chain.
