Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative’s Andrew Hayward Named a 40 Under 40 by Cape & Plymouth Business

BRAINTREE, MA :Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. (AHSC; www.ahscinc.org), a nonprofit organization that owns and develops affordable rental communities, now celebrating its 25th anniversary as a trusted leader in creating and preserving high-quality affordable housing primarily across Massachusetts, proudly announces that Development Manager Andrew Hayward has been named a 2026 40 Under 40 award winner by Cape & Plymouth Business.

The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate the region’s brightest young leaders who are making a significant impact in their industries and communities. These awards recognize individuals who are trailblazers, innovators, and changemakers—those who go above and beyond in their careers and through volunteer work, community engagement, and leadership.

Since joining AHSC in August 2021, Hayward has helped deliver more than 400 units of affordable housing across Massachusetts. He recently completed construction and converted to permanent financing on Columbia Uphams in Dorchester (91 units) and Prospect Estates in Webster (25 units). At Walnut Knoll in Foxboro, 141 of 200 units are complete with the remaining 59 under construction. He is preparing to break ground on the New Bedford Trio, a three-building, 61-unit scattered site project across New Bedford.

Alongside this development work, Hayward has positioned AHSC as an industry innovator by introducing AI tools to streamline internal processes and leading the integration of solar energy across five projects in the portfolio.

Hayward completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina where he earned a double major in Real Estate and Finance. He holds a Master of Professional Studies, Real Estate from Georgetown University., REFM certification with distinction, and a CCIM candidate and member.

Hayward and fellow 40 Under 40 honorees will be celebrated on June 11 at Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod in Hyannis.
