The air quality in Delhi remained in the severe category today, with AQI being recorded at 460.
An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’ and 401-500 ‘severe’, while AQI above 500 falls in the severe plus category.
Air quality in the city was severe yesterday as well. The overall AQI was recorded at 456 last evening.
The MeT department had said strong winds are expected from tomorrow, which will improve the air quality.
