To honour the commitments, efforts and contribution of these frontline nursing warriors, the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Ayush organised International Nurses Awareness Week from 4th-12th May, 2022.

The activities of the week started with a street play, wherein nurses were educated on substance abuse, its impact on people and society, and were informed about steps that should be taken to control it. Various patient awareness programmes on different topics like mental health and its remedies, importance of Ayurvedic diet in daily routine, management of diarrhoea, stress management, and others were organised by esteemed guests and nurses from AIIA.
