Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the Panch-Sarpanch conference at Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar in Alirajpur district. Earlier, he paid homage to the immortal revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad at his birthplace. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said in the conference that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is engaged in building a prosperous and powerful nation. We all should cooperate in this work.
The Chief Minister said that he wants to visit this holy land of revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad every year. The memory of the martyrs will be preserved in the state. He announced the construction of Azad Park and said that it would inspire patriotism among citizens coming from all over the country. In-charge Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, MP Guman Singh Damor, other public representatives and representatives of rural areas were present in the programme.
All should get social justice with social harmony
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we have to build an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh where social justice can be available to all with social harmony. He said that many schemes have been made for the farmers and villagers to meet basic needs like food, clothing and shelter. On the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, farmers are being given Samman Nidhi, with contribution from Madhya Pradesh government also. The poor are being given free ration and own house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Students will get free training for competitive exams
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan described the Byra brand of products of women self-help groups in Alirajpur district as a good initiative. He said that the women of self help groups will now become more empowered. He said that only women will stitch school uniforms and no contractor would be involved in this work. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a campaign will be run to dig Kapil Dhara wells in the fields where water cannot be supplied. He directed the Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma that the work like property distribution and name transfers of farmers should be conducted smoothly. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the students of the region should be provided better training at the cost of the government for examinations like NEET and JEE. In the coming times, many job opportunities will be made available to the youth, including the filling of government posts in the backlog. He said that the development works in the district would be done at fast pace and the area would be given a facelift. He also announced to provide education to the students of rural areas through CM Rise School on the lines of public schools. He said that rural home stay scheme would be implemented to promote tourism in Katthiwada region.
