Boca Raton, Florid: The South Florida band “A Moment of Violence” (AMoV) excited to be invited to give a live performance July 19 for Host Nicko McBrain, Drummer of Iron Maiden, at Piper’s Pub in Pompano Beach.
“I can’t begin to tell you how honored and excited we are to be featured guests for Nicko McBrain,” said lead guitarist and songwriter Desi Pena. “This show will represent all of our experience and success thus far, and I’m looking forward to introducing our music and rockin’ the audience!”
“Working with AMoV brings me back to my New York City days of seeing great Metal bands at clubs like CBGB’s, L’Amour’s, Cat Club and other cool venues,” said Adrienne Mazzone, President, TransMedia Group that started her PR career in the 80’s promoting clubs and bands. “With their upcoming show they were invited by Nicko himself, will rock the venue and ‘set the stage’ for many more gigs,” added Mazzone.
AMoV signed on with label ‘Wake UP! Music Rocks’ in late 2023 and has since successfully garnered many accolades including three top 20 positions on the DRT Rock Chart which gauges radio spins across the globe.
Since they were established, A Moment of Violence, released powerful songs such as S.H.O.T.S Fired- An Anthem for the Betrayed, My Endless Nightmare, Stone Cold Killer, and Forgiveness. The band’s music video for ‘My Endless Nightmare’ was also highlighted during 2024 Music Video Awards where the video director, Dominick Giorgianni, was honored with the Best Director Award.
The band caught the attention of another rock and roll icon, “They blew me away – MetalCorp with a kick!” said Cosmo Ohms, former original Lighting Director for CBGB and OMFUG the renounce birthplace of New York’s World-Wide PUNK Rock movement and other related genres that is on the move for bookings.
The upcoming show hosted by Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden will be held on July 19th, 2024 at 9pm at Piper’s Pub located at 960 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL, United States, Florida 33062.
