Kokrajhar, Dec 2: Kokrajhar police recovered arms and ammunition including one AK 47 and 309 no of ammunitions from Bathouguri village under Kokrajhar Police Station in the district last night.The recovery came just few days ahead of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections scheduled in two phases on December 7 and 10 next.Kokrajhar SP Rakesh Roushan said based on secret information that illegal arms/ammunition are concealed at Bathouguri village under Kokrajhar Police Station area a search operation was launched in the leadership of additional superintendent of police Mukut Rabha last night and recovered one AK 47, ad 299 ammunition nos of 7.62 and 19 nos ammunition of .303 which were kept concealed near a fish pond in the village.
