GUWAHATI : Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering has demanded a ban on battleground mobile India game. Ninong Ering made the request in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ering alleged that Battleground Mobile India aims to cheat the government and citizens. Notably, after the Indian government banned PUBIG last year, the game’s developer Crafton has decided to launch a different version of the game in India from a new name, Battleground Mobile India.

Ninong Ering in his letter to PM Modi alleged that Crafton appointed tencent (Tencent) workers of a Chinese technology firm, a major investor of PUBG Mobile India. “Almost all Indian employees of Crafton, including its senior management teams, are former tancent employees, who were miraculously hired by Craftlon in December last year and working on BML”, the Arunachal Pradesh MLA said. Ninong Ering clearly specified that the upcoming game is “The Relaunch of Pubzi Mobile”. Ering alleged that “this is only an illusion and a ploy to relaunch the same game with minor modifications and collect user data of millions of our citizens, including our children, and transfer it to foreign companies and the Chinese government.”
