and a Brush with Success

Vizag:  Asian Paints, through its heartwarming initiative ‘Kaamyabi Ke Rang’, continues to shine a light on the unsung heroes behind India’s most vibrant homes – the contractors. This series captures inspiring stories of transformation, empowerment and progress brought to life by the support and skilling provided through the Asian Paints Beautiful Homes Academy.

From the positive spirit of Delhi’s Junaid Kazmi, to the quiet strength of Amrut Ben from Madhapar, Gujarat, and the digital savvy of Varanasi’s Bunty Bind—Kaamyabi Ke Rang brings alive the many faces of progress across India. Each story is unique, yet all are united by one thread: the drive to grow, and the courage to dream bigger.

Among them is Ganniraju Siripuram from Visakhapatnam—a man who turned sacrifice and hard work into a story of success. As a young boy, Ganniraju loved to study. But with a father struggling to make ends meet, Ganniraju set aside his dreams to support his family. He took up whatever work he could find, yet deep inside, he longed to do something meaningful. That spark ignited when he discovered painting. With each brushstroke, Ganniraju began to rediscover himself—bringing colour not just to walls, but to his own life.

As clients wanted better work, Ganniraju wanted to upskill to get better at his job. That’s when he discovered Asian Paints’ Beautiful Homes Academy – a training ground for modern techniques and design thinking. Learning about Interior Design Consultancy (IDC) designs didn’t just sharpen his skills; it gave him confidence and a renewed sense of purpose.

Today, Ganniraju is more than a painter – he’s an artist with recognition, repeat clients, and revived dreams. His journey is proof that with the right opportunity, a difficult life can also be transformed into one of pride and purpose.

Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO of Asian Paints, “Kaamyabi ke Rang is not just a campaign — it’s a celebration of the people who are at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve seen painters and contractors grow from small beginnings to becoming respected professionals in their communities. Their journey has been inspiring, and we’re proud to have walked alongside them — not just as a brand, but as a partner who truly believes in their potential.”

The Beautiful Homes Academy has trained nearly 900,000 individuals across India, offering over 2.1 million sessions. It covers areas like paint application, waterproofing, wood finishes, mechanization, and customer service, with techniques inspired by designer collections like Sabyasachi for Asian Paints.

Its impact goes beyond skill-building. A recent report showed 79% of participants increased their income, 88% received more work, and 86% gained social respect. Nearly 80% would recommend the program. For Asian Paints, it’s not just about upskilling, it’s about creating dignity, confidence, and opportunity at scale.
