Assam: Army conducts flag march; law & order situation under constant monitoring

In Assam, the Army is conducting flag march at Guwahati, Dibrugarh and Jorhat. Law and order situation is being monitored constantly by the senior officials. The Officer-in-Charge of the Duliajan Police Station in Dibrugarh district injured last night in a clash with the protesters. 

The State Government has specially deputed three senior IPS officers to monitor the law and order situation. Movement of all short-distance trains has been cancelled for the day today.
