GUWAHATI :In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, Serchhip Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of KHeadquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East)*, recovered 2 Cartons of 12 guage 70 mm Gun cartridges (Total 1000 Nos) and one Myanmar bike without any valid documents. The operation was carried out by Assam Rifles based on specific information carried out during 02 April 2021.
The operation was based on confirmed intelligence inputs about the war like stores. Swift and bold action of Security Forces resulted in the recovery of Myanmar bike & amn which has been handed over to Zokhawthar Police.
