Kochi: Aster Medcity , The Center of Excellence in Child and Adolescent Health, and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Kochi Branch conducted Aster Kids 7th Annual Monsoon CME on Paediatric Surgery at IMA House, Kaloor, Kochi. The one day CME included comprehensive scientific sessions on various aspects of Paediatric Surgery and was designed for paediatricians to enhance their skills and knowledge in their day to day practice.
The CME was dedicated to the memory of late Dr PC Alexander, one of the most respected Pediatricians in the country and one of the founding doctors of the Aster Centre of Excellence in Child and Adolescent health.
The topics discussed during workshop included Greenish vomiting in newborns- warning signs, Jaundice in children, Hydronephrosis, atypical genitalia, Empyema Thoracis, Updates in vaccinology, mass abdomen etc.
