Aster Medcity starts GDA Course and Job Placement Program for Underprivileged

Kochi: Aster Medcity has taken a commendable step towards uplifting underprivileged individuals by launching free training and job placement for the role of General Duty Assistant (GDA).  The launch event, GDA training sessions for the first batch of 50 students held at Aster Medcity, was inaugurated by Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament, Ernakulam.

 “Aster Medcity’s commitment to skill development and job creation is truly commendable. This GDA training program will empower individuals with valuable skills,” said Hibi Eden, MP, Ernakulam.

The General Duty Assistant training course, certified by the National Skill Development Authority, spans over six months and equips students with essential healthcare skills and knowledge. During the six months course, students will get stipend for three months. The training is divided into two batches, each consisting of 25 students, enabling personalized attention and effective learning.

 “At Aster Medcity, we believe in creating pathways to opportunity for all members of society. This GDA training programme perfectly complements our mission of developing skills, advancing employment, and making a positive difference in people’s lives,” said Farhaan Yasin, Vice President, Aster India.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be offered permanent employment positions at Aster Medcity, with salaries in accordance with government regulations.
