Axis Bank organizes free health camps in Andhra Pradesh

On the occasion of World Health Day, Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank announced the launch of free health camps for citizens based in the rural regions of Andhra Pradesh. These health camps will be held in select Axis Bank branches across Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Visakhapatnam.   

The Bank has partnered with renowned and well-established Hospitals and Diagnostic centres such as Apollo Hospitals, Care Hospitals, MaxxVision Hospitals and Shankar Netralaya to ensure that the citizens receive the best medical guidance from a dedicated team of doctors. These health camps will offer a free medical check-up, consultations with doctors and basic diagnostic tests such as Eye test, Blood Pressure (BP), Random Blood Sugar (RBS) and Electrocardiogram (ECG).  

The camps will be organized at the following branches –  

26th April – Tadepalligudem branch in Kakinada and Eluru branch in Rajahmundry 

3rd May – Eluru One Town branch in Rajahmundry and Chillakallu branch in Vijayawada 

4th May – Tenali branch in Vijayawada 

5th May – Machilipatnam & Vijayawada Strategic Branch in Vijayawada 

6th May – Gundala&Nuzvid branch in Vijayawada and Daba Gardens branch in Visakhapatnam

This initiative is a part of Axis Bank’s commitment towards promoting health awareness, and improving access to healthcare facilities for communities which are underserved or unable to access basic medical facilities. The Bank aims to host more than 200 participants each day for free health check-ups.
