Ayushman CAPF scheme launched

GUWAHATI : Ayushman Bharat: Under the scheme, around 10 lakh CRPF personnel and officers and their families can be treated in 24,000 hospitals in the country. Now armed forces personnel will be inducted into ‘Ayushman Bharat: Pm Jan Arogya’. Under this scheme, all CRPF employees and their families will be given a Health Card. The health of crpf employees will be checked every year and the health of all their families will also be checked every third year. The entire record of health check-up of the employee and family will be recorded in this health card. The CRPF personnel will be entering all the health related information in the computer at the hospital where they will take their health card. The Home Minister said that a scheme is being prepared so that security personnel can spend at least 100 days a year with their families. He said the government will start the recruitment process of 50,000 personnel in CAPFs.

 Every employee who departs from CAPF in 5 years will be recruited so that every jawan can spend 100 days every year at his home. He said the target is to increase the satisfaction ratio of central armed police forces personnel by 55 per cent by 2022, which was 36 per cent two years ago, to 65 per cent by 2024. Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya’ scheme. Every family is getting medical insurance of Rs 5 lakh annually under ayushman bharat scheme. The Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana launched by the UPA government in the year 2008 has also been merged into the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The Ayushman Bharat Scheme (ABY), popularly known as Modicare, was launched from 25 September 2019. The government wants to provide health insurance to the poor, neglected families and families of urban poor people through ABY.
