Borgaon Bujurg will be made Nagar Panchayat: CM Shri Chouhan

Bhopal:  Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today started the Jan Darshan programme from Pandhana in Khandwa district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with the citizens in Dulhar, Rustampur, Kumthi and Borgaon Bujurg in the Vikas Samagam and Jandarshan programme and also gave many gifts to the area on their demand.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted with the public in village Dulhar and listened to their problems. He announced to construct a Panchayat Bhavan in Dulhar at a cost of Rs 20 lakh and to provide drinking water to households under the Nal Jal Yojana at a cost of Rs 96 lakh 51 thousand in Jal Jeevan Mission.

Benefit distribution in various schemes

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan presented a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh to Rupali of Shri Ram Self-Help Group of Dulhar for running vegetable business under Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. Similarly, Rajni Kushwaha of Guru Kripa Self-Help Group Colladit was given a cheque of Rs 1 lakh for goat rearing. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan presented disability pension certificate to Gopal Govardhan, Kalyani pension to Smt. Lalita Bai wife of Ram Singh, certificates of financial assistance to Smt. Lalita Bai wife of Late Ram Singh, Smt. Shakeela Bi wife of Late Kallu Khan under Sambal Yojana. Lalitha Bai Munshi and Mukesh, son of Kailash, were given acceptance certificates of Kapil Dhara Well under MNREGA scheme. Along with this, certificates of Ladli Laxmi Yojana were also given to the beneficiaries.

Inform after completing the plan

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also addressed a public meeting in Rustampur. He directed the concerned officer to complete the scheme being conducted under Jal Jeevan Mission at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 25 lakh in two and half months and inform after completion. The Chief Minister said that a Panchayat Bhavan costing Rs 20 lakh would be constructed in Rustampur. Congratulated all the villagers for cent percent vaccination of the first dose in Pandhana block and said that those who have got the first dose of the vaccine, they should also apply the second dose within the stipulated period. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, while interacting with the public at village Kumthi, said that pure drinking water would be available in all households under the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 21 lakh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also announced during the Jan Darshan in village Borgaon Bujurg to make Borgaon Bujurg a Nagar Panchayat and to open CM Rise School here. He said that under Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, water would be supplied door-to-door in Borgaon at a cost of Rs. 7 crore 25 lakh. He also distributed certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes and honoured the health workers doing good work in vaccination.

During this, State Forest Minister Shri Kunwar Vijay Shah, District In-charge and Tourism, Culture Department Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, MLA Saravshri Devendra Verma, Ram Dangore, Narayan Patel, Collector Shri Anay Dwivedi, Superintendent of Police Shri Vivek Singh and public representatives were present.

Visited vaccination centre

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited the Covid Vaccination Centre operating at the Community Health Centre Pandhana. During this, while honouring the health workers doing vaccination, he congratulated them.
