Mumbai : Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and a Maharatna PSU, today confirmed that LPG supply across the country remains stable and aligned with consumption trends, supported by sustained dispatches across domestic, commercial and bulk segments over the past ten days.
Between April 12 and April 21, BPCL delivered 11,395,564 domestic cylinders, 287,867 commercial cylinders, and 222,444 FTL supplies, indicating steady movement of LPG across the supply chain and continued availability across markets. The dispatch pattern reflects normal demand behaviour with no unusual surge in bookings.
Industry observers note that balanced offtake across domestic and commercial categories typically signals supply stability, with both household consumption and institutional demand being serviced simultaneously. BPCL’s latest dispatch volumes show continued replenishment of distributor inventories while maintaining regular delivery cycles.
The company’s logistics chain — spanning refineries, import terminals, bottling plants and distributor network — has maintained consistent throughput, ensuring uninterrupted movement of LPG across regions. Bulk supplies through FTL movement have also remained steady, supporting commercial and industrial demand alongside household consumption.
In parallel, BPCL’s city gas distribution network continues to expand, with 181,405 PNG connections active till date, reflecting growing adoption of piped fuel and easing pressure on cylinder-based demand in urban clusters.
With steady dispatches across categories, balanced demand trends, and continued inventory replenishment, BPCL reiterated that LPG supplies remain normal across the country, with deliveries continuing as per routine consumption patterns.
