Kokrajhar: The election observer and expenditure observer for ensuing BTC elections under Kokrajhar subdivision district Debo Kumar Kalita and Ajay Deuri Bharali today held an all party meeting at the conference hall of Kokrajhar Deputy commissioner office in Kokrajhar.
The meeting chaired by Kokrajhar deputy commissioner Bhaskar Phukan discussed on the Covid protocols to be observed during the elections and briefed the parties on the importance of maintaining records of election expenditure correctly.
Both the Observers advocated for strict compliance to the State election commissioner guidelines. Urging the political parties and candidates to maintain proper record of election expenditure, the officials said the EC is very strict on the expenditure aspect of the election.
Kokrajhar Additional Deputy Commissioner Debeswar Bora gave a brief outline of the election plan and election rules and urged all parties present to follow the EC guidelines.
Representatives from various political parties like BJP, Congress, UPPL, BPF, AIUDF, GSP were present in the meeting.
