CarePay Launches Lumi, an AI-Powered Patient Engagement Platform for Skin, Hair and Smile Care
CarePay, a healthcare technology platform focused on improving access and affordability, has announced the launch of Lumi, an AI-powered patient engagement platform designed for dermatology, aesthetic, hair restoration and dental clinics. Lumi enables patients to undertake personalised AI assessments for skin, hair and smile concerns, helping them better understand visible concerns and approach consultations with greater awareness.
Lumi’s AI Skin Analysis evaluates more than nine visible skin parameters including acne, pigmentation, pores and dark circles; while its AI Hair Analysis assesses more than six parameters including hair density, hairline position and visible hair-loss patterns. Its AI Smile Analysis evaluates more than seven dental aesthetics parameters including tooth alignment, spacing and brightness. The skin analysis models have been trained on more than four million data points across diverse skin tones and conditions.
The platform is designed to help clinics introduce AI-powered engagement across their existing digital journeys. Lumi can be integrated into clinic websites and apps, accessed through QR codes, embedded into digital campaigns and landing pages or shared with prospective patients through WhatsApp. By combining interactive assessments with digital engagement, the platform aims to help clinics convert initial patient interest into meaningful conversations and consultation bookings.
