CBSE communicates results of first Term board examination for Class 10th to schools

New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has communicated performances of term-1 of class X to the schools. The board said Saturday that only scores in theory have been communicated as internal assessment or practical scores are already available with the schools.

In a circular, the board has said the term 1 examinations were conducted as per schedule. It said, in case, the students missed their term-1 exam due to covid or because of the participation in national and international sporting events or olympiads, no performance of term-1 exam is being communicated.

It added, the final performance of the students will be assessed based on performances in term-2 examination. CBSE said, no mark sheet cum passing certificate is being issued now.

Only one mark sheet cum passing certificate will be issued after term-2 examination to bring parity with the previous results. The board added that this will be comprising of total marks of both the terms as weightage decided of the term-1 and term-2 examination and accordingly final performances will be calculated.
