Centre and the ADB sign loan agreement of 31 million dollar to develop Tourism and boost Jobs in Tamil Nadu

Centre and the Asian Development Bank today signed a loan agreement of 31 million dollars in New Delhi to develop Tourism and boost Jobs in Tamil Nadu.

After signing the agreement, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs Sameer Kumar Khare said, the Project is expected to improve the tourism infrastructure in Tamil Nadu and also help the State in preserving the natural and cultural heritage.

He said the activities under the project will also boost economic opportunities for the local people. An official release said the Project will support the conservation and restoration of eight heritage monuments, one museum and three temples.
