Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today presented his government’s maiden budget for the financial year 2019-2020.
With an outlay of about Rs. 91 thousand crore rupees, the budget focuses on farmers, agriculture and rural development.
Five thousand crore rupees have been allotted for farm loan waiver. There is also a provision of Rs.400 crore rupees to cut the electricity bill by half for domestic consumers up to consumption till 400 units.
The Chief Minister said that the budget expresses the spirit of ‘Bahujan Hitay- Bahujan Sukhaay’.
