Amaravati: In a landmark moment for India’s quantum technology aspirations, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation stone for Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV), marking the birth of India’s first and largest planned integrated quantum technology ecosystem.
The historic ceremony was graced by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, who unveiled the foundation plaque; Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India; Sri Nara Lokesh, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Education; along with senior leadership from IBM India, TCS, L&T, and IIT Madras.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister declared: “Andhra Pradesh will not follow — we will lead. When the world needs quantum solutions, they will look to Amaravati. From here, we will make Quantum for the World.”
