Jabalpur: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his anniversary. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan garlanded his portrait in the auditorium at his residence. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was born on September 25, 1916 in Nagla Chandrabhan in brajbhumi Mathura. He was co-founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was a thinker and organiser of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Presenting the Sanatan (traditional) ideology of India in an epoch-making form, he gave a vision of Integral Humanism to the country. He wanted a strong and powerful India. Along with politics, he also had a keen interest in literature. He passed away on February 11, 1968.
