CII to host Agritech South 2024 and Agri Vision 2024

Hyderabad: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), as a part of its initiatives to promote agriculture, food processing and its allied sectors is organizing the 4th edition of CII Agri Tech South 2024, a 3-day exhibition which aims at achieving sustainable growth in agricultural sector and a 2-day Conference on the latest developments in Agriculture – Agri Vision 2024.

The event is scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 February 2024 in partnership with the Government of Telangana as the Host State partner.

Agri Tech South 2024 aims to catalyze sustainable growth within the agricultural sector, with a specific focus on doubling farmers’ income and integrating the latest technological advancements. The exhibition will feature a diverse array of themes including Crop Diversification, Micro-irrigation, Integrated Farming Systems, E-NAM & Insurance, Agriculture Implements, Farm Mechanization, Post-harvest Management, IoT, AI & Drones, Digital agriculture, value addition, Nutrition, and more. The event will offer live demonstrations showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as Drones, Greenhouses, various Irrigation methods, and Agriculture machinery & implements.

The Agri Vision 2024 will delve deeper into critical topics pertinent to the future of agriculture. Sessions will encompass discussions on Regenerative Agriculture for Social, Economic, and Environmental Sustainability; Animal Husbandry & Fisheries; Challenges and Opportunities within the Indian Poultry Sector; Managing Water and Fertilizer for Sustainable Intensification; Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation in Agriculture; Emerging Technologies in Agriculture; the Role of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Agricultural Development; Agricultural Mechanization for smallholders; Sustainable Horticulture for Nutritional Security, and much more.

With a lineup of 16 sessions featuring over 65+ speakers from around the globe, the conference anticipates engaging over 1000 participants in enriching dialogues and knowledge sharing.

With 100+ exhibitors which include key agricultural companies like Coromandel, ITC, TAFE, Mahindra & Mahindra and many more the exhibitors aims to have a footfall of almost 20000 visitors from farmers and various other allied industries related to farming.

Mr K Ashok Reddy, IAS., Director of Horticulture, Govt. of Telangana appreciated CII for organizing this exhibition in Hyderabad and scaling it each edition. He urged for the participation of farmers across the state, he emphasized the significance of seizing this opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest best practices, novel products, and technological innovations in agriculture.
