Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended hearty greetings to Journalists on the occasion of National Press Day. In his greeting message, CM Shri Chouhan has said that journalists and writers play an important role in building society. Once upon a time, press meant only news papers and magazines. Today, press refers to the media including social and electronic media. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan while congratulating all the people associated with the media on the National Press Day and said that journalism has given new strength to democracy. New consciousness has been generated in the society. CM Shri Chouhan said that press has also witnessed a period of suppression during the emergency. During the period of Corona pandemic, our journalists have fearlessly shouldered their responsibility. Today all the people associated with journalism are working in better environment. The press has made its role significant through its own efforts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has wished that the media personnel while strengthening themselves will continue to make significant contribution in the building the society and nation.
