CM Chouhan holds meeting of Food Safety Administration

Bhopal: Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is our duty to provide pure material to the public under good governance. For this, an intensive campaign will be launched against adulterators and those who manufacture and sell fake material in the state. He directed that under the campaign people who manufacture and sell fake and adulterated goods should be attacked at the roots and strict action should be taken against them, so that no one in the state dares to make and sell fake material. Chief Secretary  Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP  Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura were present on the occasion.

Honest businessmen should not face any problem

Chief Minister  Chouhan clearly said that special care should be taken under the campaign to ensure that honest businessmen do not face any problems. They should carry on their business without any fear.

Those who play with public health should not be spared

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that playing with public health is a big crime, such people will not be spared under any circumstances. Appreciating the action taken against fake ghee manufacturers in Bhopal he said that such action should be taken in all the districts of the state.

Time must not be wasted in presenting the case

Chief Minister  Chouhan directed that once the samples of food items are taken and tested in the laboratory, there should be no delay in the process of submitting its report to the court, so that the offenders can be punished on time.

Nine mobile laboratories will also be operated

Nine mobile laboratories will also be operated in the state, for spot testing and reporting of food items. Laboratories for testing food items in the state have a capacity of 1000 samples testing per month. Chief Minister  Chouhan gave instructions regarding increase in their capacity.

Three new laboratories soon at Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur

Three new laboratories will soon be constructed in Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur with funding by the Government of India.
