The present form of India is the result of Sardar Patel’s efforts. Today, the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel is being celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. As a symbol of Sardar Patel’s sacrifice and to pay tribute to him, a statue of Unity has been erected in Kevadia, Gujarat with the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This premises has become a unique place of reverence of the world.
