Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings in the Smart City Garden along with the daughters of Bhopal who contributed to the programming of Azadi satellite rocket. Students of Class 10th and 12th of Maharani Laxmibai Girls Higher Secondary School, BHEL Barkheda, Bhopal have made a special contribution in programming the country’s smallest satellite rocket SLB, which took off from Sri Harikota. Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, Nancy, Shaista, Priyanka and Niharika of class 12th and Priya, Shivangi, Ayushi, Sejal, Sneha, Prachi, Bipasha, Purvi, Chanchal, Amrita and Garima of class 10th planted Banyan, Neem and Gular saplings. CM Shri Chouhan interacted with the girl students about their schooling, studies, interest-training in programming and the experience of joining ISRO’s campaign.
These daughters of simple families of Bhopal are proficient in information technology and robotic technology. In the programme of ISRO in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, these girl students were selected upon programming from the software of the satellite company “Space Kids” Chennai, affiliated to NITI Aayog. Special training was provided to the girl students. The selected students did programming under the guidance of senior teacher Jitendra Pal Singh Chouhan. In the 75th year of independence, 750 daughters contributed in the programming of Azadi Satellite, in which 15 daughters of Bhopal participated.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, in a discussion with the media representatives at Smart City Garden, said that this activity in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence will boost the interest of the daughters towards science, technology and mathematics and they should also acquire proficiency in it, this programme is very important for this purpose. While greeting, extending good wishes and blessing the daughters, CM Shri Chouhan wished them bright future.

According to Ayurveda, the treatment of many diseases is possible with the help of Banyan leaves, bark etc. Consumption of its decoction boosts the immunity. Similarly, Neem abounding in antibiotic elements is known as the supreme medicine. Gular is an excellent medicine, which is also useful from the point of view of Ayurveda and environment.
